TXL Group's business is the development and manufacture of the next generation of thermoelectric power producing devices. Areas of specific interest include shockwave consolidation to produce nanostructured bulk thermoelectric (TE) materials and the use of coating technology to "print" TE generation structures onto the walls of heat exchangers. TXL Group also maintains an active research program to develop engineered TE materials with a particular focus on the transition metal chalcogenides.
